Booking terms
What you can expect from us, and what we need from you, when you book a private session or commission a production.
Last updated 11 September 2026
Scope
These terms apply to every private session, event, brand production and other filming or photography service provided by Filming it all, trading as Filming It All(“we”, “us”). “You” means the person or organisation booking us. Where we sign a separate written agreement with you, that agreement takes priority over these terms where they conflict. Use of our website is governed by our Terms of Use.
Quotes and booking
Prices on our website are starting points in US dollars. After you tell us the where, when and what, we send a written quote describing the deliverables, dates, locations and price. A booking is confirmed only when we have both your written acceptance of the quote and the deposit. Until then, dates are not held.
Payment
- A deposit of 50 percent of the quoted price secures your date. It is non-refundable except as set out under cancellation below.
- The balance is due before the shoot begins, unless your quote says otherwise.
- Travel, accommodation, permits, location fees and other expenses are either included in the quote or itemised separately and charged at cost.
- Additional time or deliverables requested on the day or afterwards are charged at the rates in your quote, or at our then-current rates if none are stated.
- We do not release final files until the balance and any agreed extras have been paid in full.
Rescheduling and cancellation by you
- You may reschedule once free of charge with at least 7days' written notice, subject to our availability. The deposit carries over to the new date.
- If you cancel with at least 7days' notice, we keep the deposit and refund any balance already paid.
- If you cancel with less than 7days' notice, or do not attend, the full quoted price is payable, less any expenses we have not yet incurred.
- If you are more than 30 minutes late, the shoot is shortened accordingly or, at our discretion, treated as a cancellation on the day.
Where consumer law in your country gives you a right to cancel a service booked at a distance, that right applies. By asking us to hold a date within the cancellation period you agree that we may begin work, and that a proportionate charge applies for work already done if you then cancel.
Cancellation by us
If we have to cancel because of illness, injury, equipment failure or another cause within our control, we will offer you a new date first. If no date works, we refund everything you have paid, including the deposit. That refund is the full extent of our liability for cancellation.
Weather and events beyond anyone's control
Outdoor shoots depend on weather and light. If conditions make the shoot unsafe or would clearly ruin the result, either of us may postpone at no charge and we will find a new date together. The same applies to strikes, travel disruption, government restrictions, security situations and other events beyond our reasonable control. Where a postponement is impossible, amounts already paid are refunded less expenses we cannot recover.
What we need from you
- Accurate information about the location, timing, participants and what you want captured.
- Any permits, permissions or entry tickets required for the location, unless the quote says we will arrange them.
- Confirmation that everyone taking part agrees to be filmed, and the consent of a parent or legal guardian for any participant under 18. We may ask participants to sign a short release.
- Being on time, and a point of contact we can reach on the day.
- Respectful and safe conduct towards our team. We may end a shoot early if that is not the case, without refund.
Creative approach
You book us for our style, which is the style you see in our portfolio. We use our professional judgement on framing, pacing, colour, music and edit. We welcome references and a shot list, but we cannot guarantee any specific shot, and we do not promise a particular emotional or commercial outcome. Weather, light, access and the behaviour of participants all shape the result.
Delivery
- Final files are normally delivered within 2 to 4 weeks of the shoot via a private online link. Rush delivery can be quoted separately.
- The quote lists what you receive: length, number of edits, formats and resolution. Raw footage and unedited photographs are not included unless the quote says so.
- You get 1 round of reasonable revisions within 14 days of delivery, covering things like a title correction, a swap of a shot or a trim. Changes to the overall concept, length or music are a new job.
- Download and back up your files promptly. We keep delivered files available for 180 days and raw material for 90 days after delivery, after which they may be deleted.
Ownership and your licence
We own the copyright in everything we shoot and edit. On full payment you receive a licence to use the delivered files as follows:
- Private sessions: a perpetual, worldwide licence for personal, non-commercial use, including sharing on your own social media. Please credit @imfilmingitall where you can.
- Brand and commercial productions: the licence, channels, territory and duration set out in your quote. Uses outside that scope, such as paid advertising or resale, need our written agreement and may carry a fee.
You may not sell, sub-license or hand our files to third parties for their own use, register them as trademarks, or edit them in a way that misrepresents the people or events shown. Music in our edits is licensed for the delivered use only; if you re-cut or re-use the audio elsewhere you are responsible for clearing it.
Portfolio and social media
We may show the work we make for you on our website, in our portfolio, in showreels and on our social channels. If you would prefer we did not, tell us in writing before the shoot and we will keep the work private. For productions involving minors or sensitive situations we will always ask first.
Loss of footage and our liability
We use professional equipment, shoot to redundant cards where possible and back up material promptly. Cameras, cards and drives can still fail. If footage is lost or damaged and cannot be recovered, we will re-shoot at no charge where practical, or refund the fees paid for the affected part of the work. That refund, and in any event the total fees you have paid us, is the limit of our liability under these terms, except for liability that cannot be limited by law.
We are not liable for delays or shortfalls caused by inaccurate information from you, lack of access or permits, participants who arrive late or leave early, or other matters outside our control.
Privacy
We handle personal data, including footage of participants, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, and any dispute is subject to the courts there, without affecting the rights consumer law gives you in your country of residence. Contact us first at legal@filmingitall.com and we will do our best to sort it out directly.
